MN2S come up trumps on their latest release by presenting a blistering collaboration between on-point Brooklyn-based producer Alix Alvarez and international soul icon Nate James.
Not To Mention is a slice of the purest soul-drenched house goodness. Alix's crisp beats and distinctive chords combine with Nate's exquisite, top line to create real soulful masterpiece. This highly anticipated release with comes with the Main Vox Mix which, as expected, literally oozes emotion and the Main Instrumental Mix that is perfect for those slightly deeper moments. The Sole Channel Dub and Dub Vox get a stripped back treatment; hooky, groovy and heavy, these mixes rock will rock the floor. A release straight from the heart ? check it out now!!
Fresh from remixing the latest Amy Winehouse record (Tears Dry On Their Own) for Universal, Alix Alvarez is currently on fire. Taking influence from a mixture of hip-hop R&B and salsa, Alix has developed a trademark sound to his production and is recognized for his soulful house grooves. He regularly works with Franck Roger, Mr. V and Miss Patty and has previously collaborated with the likes of Osulande and Lem Springsteen (Mood II Swing). Having come a long way and made a heavy impression in his relatively short career, Alix Alvarez is probably best known for his 2006 collaboration with Mr. V and Miss Patty on Da Bump. Da Bump was originally released on Vega and subsequently licensed to Defected as it became a worldwide club hit. |

Mr V brings us the 2nd single from his album "Welcome Home". Put Your Drink Down is produced by Masters At Work's Louie Vega. The original is percussion led groove that builds and builds. Copyright and Bob Sinclar are on remix duty. Copyright take it on a slightly more housey tip but keep the vibe of the original. Bob Sinclar on the hand goes for a peak time Africanism style remix. Definatly one for the sun. |
