This multifaceted Swiss pioneer dj, producer & remixer is one of the few worldwide who played at a Madonna’s after Party concert (Barcelona 2001), held the European dj record for a non stop 30 hour set (Zurich 2003), and made a soundtrack for the Bitburger beer (Germany 2004). He has collaborated with artists like Etienne de Crecy, Cerrone, The Weather Girls, Billy Ray Martin among many big names of house music worldwide.

Jamie Lewis has produced, for his own record label Purple Music, successful songs like ”The Light” with Michelle Weeks, ”For You” with Michael Watford, ”Streetlife” with Chance, ”Sunshine Hotel”, ”Hooked on you,” and ”Not too shabby” with Cerrone feat. Jocelyn Brown, “Be Thankful” with Michelle Weeks, “It’s Over” with Michael Watford & remixed for labels like Yellow, Defected, Mn2s, Universal Rec. France, Universal rec Germany…

He as a producer along with his Label PURPLE MUSIC have been nominated in 2004 & 2005 at the UK “House Music awards.”

Jamie Lewis has mixed 18 CD Compilations and one Album including the 6 Volume ”In the Mix” series with DJ Pippi, “The Kaufleuten,” “Dj Traxx Vol. 6,” “Radio Streetparade,” “House,” Mykonos ‘2003&’2004,2005, Purple Music’s “The Master Collection Vol. 1&2,” and two volumes of this new successful CD series ”my girlfriend is out of town.” He also appears on Defected Records triple CD WAXWAR project together with Simon Dunmore & Brian Tappert.

Along with his own trendy fashion collection “my girlfriend is out of town” & ”my boyfriend is out of town” JAMIE LEWIS is working on some new projects for Purple Music including a collaboration with Keith Thompson, Andrea Love (from Praisecats) and for long awaited follow up with Dj Pippi feat.
